The DiskStation DS1819+ is Scalable 8-bay NAS for small- to medium-sized businesses, comes with Quad-core 2.1GHz with AES-NI hardware encryption engine. It has a memory 4GB DDR4, capabilities up to 32GB. DS1819+ is highly Scalable Up to 18 drives with two DX517. DS1819+ has four built-in Gigabit Ethernet ports and one PCIe Gen3 x8 expansion slot (Support for failover and Link Aggregation), giving users more flexibility. Application Performance Analysis on the Synology DS1819+
Performance of SQL Server
Each SQL Server virtual machine has two vDisks: a 100GB boot volume and a 500GB database and log file volume. We used the LSI Logic SAS SCSI controller and configured each VM with 16 vCPUs, 64GB of DRAM, and the LSI Logic SAS SCSI controller. Previously, our Sysbench workloads had overloaded the platform.
